Nirmaya Health Foundation

Founded in 2001 to manage and supplement Pratham's health programs that began in 1999.

Highlights of the Program:

Health check-ups for pre-school children (includes de-worming, provision of Vitamins and Iron supplements)
Static and Mobile clinics that provide preventive and therapeutic medical advice
Health education for Pratham teachers, workers and parents of community children
Awareness of substance abuse and other related topics
Door-to-door environmental hygiene screening

If you enjoyed the colourful dance performances at Pratham Canada's 2007 fund-raiser on Mothers' Day, we have another treat in store for you this Spring!

Announcing ‘THE COLOURS OF INDIA,’ Pratham Canada's 2008 Spring Festival of Dance, at the Kailash Mital Theatre (formerly Southam Hall) at Carleton University on Sunday June 8, from 5.30-7.30 PM.

Please mark your calendars so you won't miss this spectacular showcase of local talent, all for a worthy cause: supporting primary education for millions of slum children in India. Last year you helped raise enough money (approx. $ 6000.00) to send 400 kids to school for a year. With your continuing support we can do even better this year!
